Die Carl Schlieper Stahlwarenfabrik & Export war ursprünglich ein Handelsunternehmen, das zwischen 1754 und 1798 in Remscheid, Deutschland, gegründet wurde. Zu den Produkten gehörten Messer, Werkzeuge und Freihandrasierer. Eine Zweigstelle des Unternehmens in Solingen war für die Herstellung von Messern, einschließlich Klappmessern, automatischen Messern, Dolchen, Macheten, Einsteckmessern, Rasiermessern und Küchenmessern zuständig. Im Laufe der Jahre hat das Unternehmen mehrere Marken geschaffen, 22 Patente angemeldet und Millionen von Produkten weltweit verkauft. Carl Schlieper wurde 1993 durch Konkurs aufgelöst. Die Produktion der Marke wurde später von Freidrich Olbertz in Solingen übernommen.

Seit den 1970er Jahren in Deutschland hergestelltes Überlebensmesser.
