Das SOG Winderer II Heavy Duty Folding Knife (Modell SOG00009) ist ein Beispiel für hohe Qualität und Präzision im Messerbau. Mit einer Klingenlänge von 8,8 cm und einer Klingenstärke von 4,7 mm ist es perfekt für alle Arten von Aufgaben geeignet und garantiert eine hervorragende Leistung beim Schneiden, Zerteilen und Bohren. Der schwarze, strukturierte Kraton-Griff bietet eine hervorragende Griffigkeit, während der robuste Lockback-Mechanismus für Sicherheit bei der Benutzung sorgt.

Das Messer ist für Rechts- und Linkshänder gleichermaßen geeignet, und dank seiner kompakten Abmessungen (11,4 cm im geschlossenen Zustand) lässt es sich bequem in der Tasche oder im Rucksack transportieren. Das Winder II wird in Seki, Japan, hergestellt, einer Stadt mit einer langen Tradition in der Messerherstellung, und ist ein Synonym für hohe Qualität und Handwerkskunst.

Es wurde 1994 von der bekannten Besteckkette Hoffritz in New York erworben und wird heute nicht mehr hergestellt. Es ist ein Sammlerstück von großem historischen Wert. Dieses Messer, das aus einer Privatsammlung stammt, weist keine Gebrauchsspuren auf und ist ein wertvolles Stück für Liebhaber und Sammler.

Anlässlich des 20-jährigen Jubiläums von SOG im Jahr 2006 wurde eine Neuauflage des originalen SOG Bowie, eines der legendären Messer des Unternehmens, auf den Markt gebracht. The SOG Toothlock knife model TK-01 has a unique feature you will not find in other knives. The locking mechanism integrated into the handle nudges the blade ajar when the user slides it backward. This nudging action gets the blade started out of the handle, and with the flick of the wrist, the user can pop the blade out in a hurry. This combined motion makes for a very fast opening knife. The shape of the blade is fabulous and has VG-10 laminated onto its surface for a razor sharp edge and excellent retention. The handle is made of sturdy Zytel with textured grooves and grips. A bayonet style clips is mounted on the end of the knife for a nice, deep carry.
