Für diese neue Zusammenarbeit mit Extrema Ratio haben wir beschlossen, ein Bestseller in der Welt von Besteck, das Schrapnel Modell vorzuschlagen. Es ist eine Satin Blade-Version, aber das Wichtigste ist, das verwendet wurde, zum ersten Mal in Italien, den berühmten japanischen Stahl San Mai von Takefu Stahl hergestellt. Insbesondere haben wir die CoS (Cobalt Special, gilt als mechanisch überlegen um 25% gegenüber dem bereits geschätzt VG10) für die Zentralplatte und der 420J2 (HRC 55) für die beiden Seitenplatten , um eine hohe Schnittleistung zu haben, aber zur gleichen Zeit in der bemerkenswerten Elastizität und Beständigkeit gegenüber Oxidation.

Ein erster Auflagen von 30 Stück wurde gemacht.

SHRAPNEL OG ist ein wirklich vielseitiges "back up" Messer mit ausgeprägter Kampfqualitäten. Die blattförmige Klinge ist flach Boden in einem charakteristisch niedrigen Winkel zu einem breiten, außerordentlich scharfe Kante. Die im Lieferumfang enthaltene harte Hülle kann vertikal getragen werden, horizontal oder schräg (bei einem Winkel von 45°). Im Gegensatz zu dem älteren Modell es ablöst, wird der SHRAPNEL OG Griff Design nicht eine Wache umfassen.

Lieber Freund,
Ich bin Paolo Bozzo und habe mich schon oft in unangenehmen, gefährlichen und schwierigen Situationen wiedergefunden. Ein Messer zu entwerfen und es nur an ein paar Nachmittagen im Wald zu testen, ist etwas ganz anderes als eines zu entwerfen, das all die Überlebensprobleme lösen soll, denen ich in den letzten 25 Jahren in Italien und im Ausland begegnet bin. Schlamm, Wasser, Schmutz, Fett, Blut, Ermüdung, Nachteinsatz, schwache Hände, begrenzter Raum, Flugbahnen, körperliche Defizite, Hitze, Kälte, Transport, Geschwindigkeit und vieles, vieles mehr... das sind nur einige der Tests, die ein gutes Design bestehen muss.

Hier sind einige der Gründe für das WF4 Rough Wolf Design.

1. Balancieren: Der Schwerpunkt muss unbedingt nach vorne verlagert werden. über die Ferse hinaus, so dass die Energie beim Schlag reduziert, d.h. eingespart wird. man muss immer das Gefühl haben, dass das Messer nach vorne fällt.

2. Schlagende Masse: 65% des Gewichts des gesamten Messers befinden sich zwischen dem ersten und zweiten Drittel der Klinge, was eine maximale Schlagkraft beim Durchstoßen gewährleistet.

3. Schneide: dank der S-förmigen Hauptkern. die Schneide ist niedriger als die Finger des Griffs, mit dem Ergebnis, dass in der Dynamik der Schneide und der Biomechanik des Arms, die Kraft ausgedrückt wird nie abgeschwächt; vor allem nie vor dem Aufprall des Messers auf das Objekt zu schneiden.

4. Schaufelhöhe: Im Vergleich zu anderen Schaufeln hat sie eine wesentlich größere Fähigkeit, Löcher zu graben.

s. Handhabung: Die Fähigkeit, das Wp4 sowohl für grobe als auch für Präzisionsarbeiten zu verwenden, ist hervorragend, dank der Möglichkeit, die Hand über den Schutz zu legen, wodurch die Klinge trotz ihrer Größe absolut beherrscht wird. Dafür sorgen der große Absatz, in den der Zeigefinger eingeführt werden kann, und die praktische Daumenauflage. Es ist auch möglich, dies mit taktischen Handschuhen zu tun.

6. Zurück: die Neigung ist aus 2 Gründen umgekehrt; 1. nach vorne schwingende Masse zu geben, 2. das Handgelenk während der Verwendung als Schneiden zu vermeiden, kommt ein normales Messer in einem Winkel auf das Objekt, verheerend den Punkt des Aufpralls, wie die Dicke ist gering. Dies lässt sich nur vermeiden, indem man das Handgelenk auf der Daumenseite anspannt und so kippt, dass der Messerrücken senkrecht auf das Objekt fällt. Die wp4 hat dieses Problem nicht; sie belastet das Handgelenk nicht, weil der Rücken der Klinge bereits senkrecht auf das zu schlagende Objekt fällt.

7. Fase: Sie ist sehr hoch und hat eine beeindruckende Durchschlagskraft.

8. Fräser: 5 Fräsungen auf der Klingenebene, um das Messer bei der Bearbeitung von Tierhäuten oder für spezielle Anwendungen beim Bushcrafting mit zwei Händen greifen zu können.

9. Der Griff wurde entwickelt, um die Gefahr des Verlusts der Klinge zu verringern und ein Öffnen der Zehengelenke bei längerem Gebrauch oder bei längerer körperlicher Belastung zu vermeiden. Verbesserter, rutschfester Griff mit innen gewölbten Griffen zur Aufnahme eines Micro SurvivalKit.

Was die Scheide betrifft, so ist sie meiner Meinung nach genauso wichtig wie die Klinge. Ich habe sie entworfen und über ihre Eigenschaften beraten; das Hauptmerkmal, das ich bei der Gestaltung berücksichtigen wollte, war die mehrfache Positionierung der Hülle: insbesondere die Möglichkeit, sie nach Belieben am Körper oder an der Ausrüstung zu positionieren, erleichtert ihre Verwendung.

Diese Qualität wird besonders von Militärangehörigen geschätzt, die bekanntlich besondere technische und logistische Anforderungen haben. Zu diesem Zweck haben wir neben Kydex auch den Keyblock-Verschluss sowie die vielen Löcher entlang des Umfangs verwendet; er ist auch sicher für den Einsatz im Freien und kann sowohl von Rechts- als auch von Linkshändern verwendet und positioniert werden.
