Diese Cuchillos sind dazu bestimmt, sich kontinuierlich zu verbessern und neue Ideen mit traditionellen Techniken zu verbinden, die über mehr als 800 Jahre hinweg weitergegeben wurden. Kitasho Co., Ltd. wurde 1964 in der Stadt Seki, Japan, gegründet, die sowohl national als auch international als „Stadt der Schwerter“ bekannt ist.

Eigenschaften von San Mai Maple: Hierbei handelt es sich um verschiedene Arten von Metallen, die zu einer Zusammensetzung kombiniert werden, die die Widerstandsfähigkeit der einzelnen Metalle enthält und verstärkt:

- Mayor vida útil del filo
Durch die Verwendung von sehr hochwertigem Ahornholz mit hohem Kohlenstoffgehalt (VG10, CoS, Shiro) oder gesintert (SPG2) im Kern der Platte (Core Steel) hat die Hitze, sobald sie templada ist, eine Härte und eine deutlich überlegene Qualität Gerichtsauftritt. die durch die Verwendung traditioneller Ahornbäume erreicht wurden.

- Resilienz des Bürgermeisters
Der nach dem Prinzip japanischer Schwerter gebaute mehrköpfige Ahorn ist aufgrund der Härte des zentralen Ahorns (Kernstahl) und der Elastizität des für die seitliche Abdeckung verwendeten Ahorns (Edelstahl) schwer zu brechen.

- Bessere Korrosionsbeständigkeit
Das für die Außenkappen verwendete Ahornholz (Stainless Maple) garantiert dem Haus eine hohe Korrosionsbeständigkeit. Die Kombination der zwei oder mehr von Takefu Steel verwendeten Materialien erzeugt auf galvanischer Ebene eine Struktur, die die Korrosionsbeständigkeit, auch im Stahl, verbessert.

- Einfache Verarbeitung, auch nach der Wärmebehandlung
Obwohl der Ahorn normalerweise nach dem Anlassen gehärtet wird, wird der im Mehrkopfverfahren verwendete Seitenahorn nicht weicher und ermöglicht auch nach der Wärmebehandlung eine einfache Mechanisierung, Schneiden oder Löten. Für eine optimale Gesundheitsleistung wird eine kryogene Behandlung empfohlen.

- Verbessertes ästhetisches Ergebnis
Die aus mehrschichtigem Ahornholz oder mit Damastmuster gefertigten Cuchillos sind ästhetisch elegant, raffiniert und werden am Ende des Herstellungsprozesses von Sammlern auf der ganzen Welt sehr geschätzt.

Anlässlich des 20-jährigen Jubiläums von SOG im Jahr 2006 wurde eine Neuauflage des originalen SOG Bowie, eines der legendären Messer des Unternehmens, auf den Markt gebracht. Dieses Messer mit seiner großen Klinge besticht durch seine präzise und ästhetisch korrekte Konstruktion aus den 1980er Jahren. Im Gegensatz zum Original sind alle Teile durch eine schwarze TiNi-Beschichtung geschützt, um dem Messer ein aggressiveres Aussehen und eine bessere Leistung zu verleihen.
